That’s why Big Sur Equipment Co. contributes 10% of our profits to the Saint Joseph Workers’ Relief Fund, providing financial assistance to workers and their families facing injury, illness, job loss, or other life-changing hardships.
Big Sur covers all administrative costs, so 100% of the funds go directly to people in need.
Helping Barb See a Brighter Future
Barb became the first recipient of assistance from the Saint Joseph Workers’ Relief Fund when she found herself facing an important medical need she could not easily afford.
Barb needed surgery and related medical care to treat glaucoma, a serious eye condition that can lead to permanent vision loss if left untreated. The Saint Joseph Workers’ Relief Fund stepped in to cover the cost of her surgery and associated care, allowing Barb to receive the treatment she needed without the added burden of worrying about how she would pay for it.
This is exactly why the Saint Joseph Workers’ Relief Fund was created: to help hardworking people through those moments in life when an unexpected hardship becomes more than they can manage alone.
Sometimes that means helping with medical care. Other times it may mean assistance following an injury, job loss, family emergency, or another life-changing event. The circumstances may differ, but the mission remains the same — workers helping workers when help is needed most.
